Office fitouts. Retail tenancies. Small industrial. Strata common areas. I quote inside 1 business day, work after-hours when your tenants need to trade, and invoice properly with a GST-registered ABN. If that sounds like the bar should be higher — well, it should. But it isn't. So here we are.

What I handle
Small-to-mid commercial is the sweet spot. If you need 40 floors of office tower, I'm not your guy. If you need one floor done properly, I am.
Workstations, meeting rooms, kitchen/break areas. GPO drops to desks, cable tray above ceiling, data cabling terminated at the comms rack, feature lighting in boardrooms, LED panel refit across open-plan. Working with your builder or tenancy coordinator.
Cafe, clinic, salon, boutique. Circuits sized for cookline or specialist equipment, display lighting, signage power, weatherproof external points, hot water and HVAC connections. New tenancy or refit — I work with centre management on access windows.
Three-phase GPOs for machinery, high-bay LED lighting, dedicated circuits for compressors, welders, roller doors. Power factor correction where the bill justifies it. Small workshops to mid-scale units.
Foyer lighting replacement, carpark sensor lighting, common-area GPO upgrades, emergency exit lights testing and replacement, main switchboard servicing. Ongoing relationships with a handful of strata committees across the Inner West and North Shore.
Quarterly or annual — thermal scan of the main board, RCD trip testing, emergency light 90-minute discharge tests, switchgear inspection. Cheaper than the one bad outage that costs you a day of trading.
How it runs
No surprises, no moving targets. Commercial clients care about reliability — so do I.
Send drawings, a scope, or just call. I walk the site, take dimensions and photos, flag anything obvious (board capacity, asbestos, roof access, after-hours constraints). No cost, no pressure.
Written quote with itemised scope, estimate, after-hours premium broken out if relevant. Programme of works if it's a multi-day job. Valid 30 days.
Works carried out to AS/NZS 3000, tested and certified. CCEW lodged with Fair Trading. Progressive certificates for larger jobs so you can close them out cleanly.
Proper tax invoice with GST and ABN. Net 14 days unless your payment terms require different. I'm a phone call away for follow-ups or snags — same number you started with.
Pricing
The residential pages on this site have estimate online pricing because a GPO install is a GPO install. A retail fitout isn't. Scope varies too much — tenancy rules, access windows, gear specs, certifications. So commercial goes the old way: send the brief, I come out (or review your drawings), and you get a firm written quote within 1 business day.
Rates are competitive for a sole-operator licensed electrician. You're not paying for a sales team or a fleet of vans on the side of the freeway in branded wrap. You're paying for the guy who actually turns up.

Commercial FAQ
Every commercial job is different — building class, access, tenancy rules, certifications. An online estimate for a residential GPO makes sense. A fitout with 40 workstations, cable tray, emergency lighting, and a new DB does not. Send me the brief and I'll call within 1 business day with a firm number.
Yes. NSW Electrical Contractor Licence 485016C. Public liability and contractor insurance — certificate of currency provided on request. GST registered, ABN-invoiced. Your accountant won't blink.
Yes — most retail and office fitouts need it. I plan around your trading hours and quote the after-hours premium into the estimate up front. No surprise surcharges on the invoice.
Small-to-mid jobs: 1 business day after site walk or drawings review. Bigger fitouts involving multiple trades: 2–3 days, confirmed on the first call. Urgent maintenance on an existing site: same day.
