Power Play Electrical is a one-person licensed electrical business based in Jordan Springs, servicing Sydney Metro. No call centre, no subbies, no "our team will get back to you." The person you speak to is the person who quotes the job, does the work, and signs it off.

Why I started it

Sick of watching customers get burned.

Before Power Play, I worked for other sparkies and saw the same thing happen too often — customers quoted one number, charged another; called three times before anyone rang back; given jobs by subbies who couldn't be bothered to do it right.

That's not what electrical should be. It's one of the most regulated trades in Australia for a reason — done wrong, people die. Done right, you don't notice it for 25 years.

So I built Power Play around three things: transparent pricing, proper sign-off, and being the one who actually shows up. The website has an online estimate tool because I reckon you should be able to see what a job costs without a sales call. It's an estimate, not a gotcha — I'll confirm the final number with you in writing before any work starts.

Honest estimates, no gotchas

The online number is a real-world estimate — the same figure I'd give you on the phone. I confirm the final price in writing before any work starts. No "we had to dig deeper" calls mid-job.

Tier-1 gear only

Hager, Clipsal, Fronius, Sungrow, Jinko, Tesla, REC. If it's in my van, it's got local warranty support and will still work in 15 years. I don't fit no-name imports. Ever.

Proper sign-off, every time

Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) lodged with NSW Fair Trading within 7 days on every notifiable job. That's your legal proof and your insurance claim backup.

I pick up the phone

One number, one sparky. If you need me and I'm on the tools, I'll call back within the hour. Simple.
